Dominique Lightfoot is married to David (practice manager) and they have 2 young boys. Dominique graduated with her physiotherapy degree in 2003, and Masters degree in 2015. Other post-graduate courses include: Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy, Pilates, Dry Needling, Kinesio Taping, Sports Taping, Sports Pelvis (LJ Lee), Mulligan Concepts (lower quarter), Spinal level one and two, Sports level one, Graduate certificate in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and Lynn Watson shoulder course. Dominique loves playing netball, and completed a 100km bush walk for Oxfam in 2015.
Alex Holmes graduated physiotherapy in 2013 from Newcastle University and has been with the team since. Alex is currently studying his Masters through LaTrobe University. Other courses include Mulligan Concepts (Upper and lower quarter), Spinal level one, Sports level 1, Dry Needling, and McKenzie. Alex enjoys playing soccer, cycling, and going to the gym.
Mauro Gennari joined Total Motion Physiotherapy in 2016, and brings a wealth of experience. He completed his bachelor of science (physiotherapy) in 2003, at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Since, he has completed numerous post-graduate courses including Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy in 2007. He has worked as an assistant lecture, both in the sports and musculoskeletal fields, and worked as team physiotherapist for rugby union, cycling, and running. Mauro also has experience in acute hospital work, in orthopaedics, neurology, and respiratory care. He has also worked in a home for the physically and cognitively disabled.
